The NHS Urgent Care Centre is available at Seaton House, London Road, Nottingham NG2 4LA (next to the BBC Nottingham building).
The centre will offer assessment and treatment for health conditions that are urgent but non-life threatening such as:
– Minor burns and scalds
– Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
– Skin infections and animal bites
– Suspected broken bones, sprains and strains (X-ray is available on -site)
– Eye infections and minor eye injuries
No appointment is needed; just drop in between 7am and 9pm 365 days a year.
Out of hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pain, symptoms of stroke and sudden shortness of breath constitute an emergency. In you are uncertain whether or not you should go to A&E please ring the surgery or 111 first and we can advise you how to access services in the most appropriate way.
