If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
Our surgery runs a comprehensive service for all overseas vaccinations and appropriate travel advice. We hold most vaccines in stock. Please make an appointment with the practice nurse 6 months before you leave or as soon as possible if not, to try to ensure you are fully protected.
Our practice is registered as a YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION CENTRE and this service is also available to non-registered patients.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:
Some travel vaccines are free of charge while for others there is a fee. These are ordered on a private prescription and incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
